Over the past forty years, I've dedicated myself to creating meaningful, high-quality fashion, corporate uniforms, and school attire. From initial designs to final products, I've focused professionally on every detail, always centering on style and innovation to continually enhance our uniforms.

Say No to Rigid Designs; Keep Uniforms Up with Trends

Five years ago, in a newspaper interview, I emphasized that corporate and school uniforms must avoid BORING designs. A vibrant, brand-coloured uniform can refresh and highlight professionalism in any field. It's essential for uniforms to keep up with trends. Wearing trendy, appropriate uniforms not only allows for comfortable work or study but also showcases corporate and school culture.

Uniform Power School - Creating a Unique Brand Image for Schools

Transitioning from fashion to corporate uniforms, and then establishing Uniform Power School, was to offer schools and parents a fashionable, quality, representative, and comprehensive choice in schoolwear. Our designs focus on the school's brand and philosophy, considering students' natural preferences to craft suitable campus wear. I believe innovation highlights the uniqueness of educational philosophies. I'm honoured to have been in this field for forty years and grateful to remain a vibrant researcher, alongside a dedicated, professional, and united team.

"Uniform Power - Go Green" - Environmental Philosophy Throughout

In this rapidly changing world, I firmly believe in uncompromised environmental responsibility and sustainability. Therefore, I'm excited to announce our new social responsibility initiative, "Uniform Power - Go Green." From choosing recyclable materials to minimizing waste in production, we're infusing our processes with eco-consciousness, more than a slogan but a commitment to environmental and social responsibility.

Expansion and Milestones

Setup Production Plant

Established a production plant in Zhongshan, with 80 staff, catering the major demand wholesale fashion markets in Southeast Asia.

1991

Incorporate Fashion Element

Incorporated elements of fashion trends into our designs, and invited artists for our first catalogue, for the sake of the greater development of UP.

Supreme brand awards 2013

Presented with “Supreme Brand Awards 2013” by “CAPITAL CEO” and “CAPITAL Entrepreneur” Magazines. The awardees were selected by the editorial boards and readers of the magazines, upon evaluation of the brand’s recognition, influence, product quality, retail points and business sustainability.

Brand Renovation

With the new looks featuring the brand new logo, UP gives a tint of freshness and a more rounded service to our customers. We continue to serve in a trendy and professional manner.

Ideal School Uniform Competition

In order to motivate Hong Kong students to come up with some creativity with their own school uniform design, UP hosted “IDEAL SCHOOL UNIFORM COMPETITION”. The final draft was sent into production, and it will be represented during the competition. A catwalk performance show and awards ceremony was held in a mall to showcase the winning designs.

First Catalogue of School

Allowing schools to choose trendy uniforms, UP fashion designers have introduced fashionable school uniform catalogues, breaking the idea that school uniforms haven't changed in ten years.

Exclusive Supply of KLOPMAN

Introducing Italian KLOPMAN fabric for school uniforms, enhancing the comfort and durability of the uniforms. Established in Europe in 1968, KLOPMAN has a 700,000-square-foot factory in Italy with 400 employees, producing over 40 million metres annually and holding numerous fabric quality assurances.

I WANT TO BE KIDEL

To coordinate with the "IDEAL SCHOOL UNIFORM COMPETITION" CATWALK performance, UP is the first school uniform supplier in Hong Kong to publicly recruit young models from the community. They are referred to by the new name "KIDEL", which stands for Kid Model, representing these young models who are confident and talented in performing.

Strategic Partners with GRWTH

GRWTH is the first education platform centred around student growth. Through student profile analysis and big data matching technology, it allows parents to efficiently purchase school uniforms supplied by UP via the App, electronic payment, and express delivery.

Uniform Power School Established

UP has set up a new brand, Uniform Power School, to independently operate the school uniform business. They have also launched three dedicated school uniform hotlines to handle customer enquiries, but also “Facebook” and “Instagram” channels to provide necessary information for parents.

2020

UNIFORM POWER x PETIT BAEAU - KIDEA

UP collaborates with the renowned baby and children's clothing brand PETIT BATEAU to supply KIDEA student shoes. PETIT BATEAU is a classic French children's clothing brand established in 1893. They ensure that their clothing is harmless to the skin, non-toxic, non-irritating, and does not contain carcinogens.

2021

Brand New Store Brand New Service

UP is the first school uniform store in Hong Kong to operate using a self-service purchasing model. Parents use their mobile phones to scan QR codes to select school uniform styles and sizes. The store also offers school supplies that students need, allowing parents to purchase quality products while buying uniforms.

2022

Brand New Website

UP's website will be presented in a brand new manner. In conjunction with the new UPEshop school uniform sales platform, parents can not only use the 3D clothing models on the website to select school uniforms but also utilize the points from uniform purchases to enjoy the sustainable "Kidel Rewards Program," creating an ecosystem for student consumer products.

2024

Digital Transformation

UP will independently implement comprehensive digital transformation and cloud integration, and establish an industry-exclusive LLM (Large Language Model). By leveraging data, they aim to provide more personalized solutions for a wide range of Hong Kong business users and students.
